Do you all know of any good flies for chasing snook, sea trout, and ladyfish? I am going to be fishing Sarasota Bay in Florida in a week. I have a medium-fast action saltwater 7/8 wt combo with floating line. Also it would be great if any of you guys happened to know any good spots or tips for fishing there in Sarasota Bay. Thanks!

Sarasota is a cool place - check out the aquarium.
As far as spots - just north of there on the back side of long boat key inside of a public park I was able to wade out and find plenty of redfish - this was in February but I am guessing fish can be found in there year round. Lots of cow nose rays and sting rays so do the shuffle

I have not fished that area but I have caught all three of those species, in Florida, on a saltwater popper. Caught the snook casting a popper up in the mangroves and the trout and ladyfish ( skipjack ) casting along the edge of channels.

I am a big fan of the clouser minnows.

I was using heavy crab patterns - I found the fish on the tide needed heavy flies to get down quick
