How do you go about fishing a recently flooded lake?

I am curious to see how some of yall would approach fishing a lake that's come up pretty rapidly. For instance 15' in the last couple of weeks.

Shallow on the points or shallow in the back of creeks. Reaction baits or flipping

Start shallow and go shallower. Frogs and spinnerbaits amongst newly submerged green stuff is a good bet.

Most people fly by people's docks first and mess them up. Then go flip there lawn stuff

I went into trotline mode, I would seine crawdads from the ditch and run trotlines and go for catfish when lakes came up a lot.
I think now of days you can buy crawdads at most grocery stores.
