I will be traveling to Grapevine Lake next weekend, and would like to get a little fishing in. Does anyone have a recommendation on what to fish for, and where on the lake to fish from the bank? I will only be able to be there for a couple of hours with our travel plans, so I'd like to make the most of it. I've heard sunfish and bass are pretty good there. Is this correct, even with the current rainfall the area has received?

Grapevine has busted its banks due to all the rain. With Tropical Storm Bill rolling in this could get worse. Most of the usual bank spots are now under water. All of the public parks are closed. Hopefully somebody will go out there and do some recon after the storms and update this.

Grapevine is approximately 27' above normal. It's a total wreck.
