 Galveston area in July?

Gunna be in the area in july and was wondering how the fishing is that time of year? Good places to go? Best bait?...

I live down near Galveston. If you bring a boat, the jetties are very good about that time , launch from galveston or the Texas City dike. Shore fishing is good in the surf on the island. Let me know when you're coming down and I'll know more about where they're at. GC.

Should be there the first or second week of July. Won't have a boat.

Fooshman , their are several good piers in Galveston , I prefer the GulfCoast Pier . If that doesnt do it try the party boats .
