Going to give it a try in the morning if they are not liking chartreuse blk back. Have these on stand by, but with the water color being chocolate milk who knows.

I'm liking the way you think, I have some new deep diving blanks I am going to paint and test out later in the week to see if I like them before ordering more. I will paint one of them this pattern. Thanks for the suggestion

Well after 2 trips I have decided this pattern will catch anything that swims probably boated 50 bass, 7 or 8 sandbass, 3 catfish, 2 gasper goo, 1 yellow perch. Lost alot of others on the way to the boat. There is very little paint left on one side guess I'll have to strip it and repaint this one. Between the fish, rocks, and boat docks I bounced it off it is retired.

That's a good looking bait and it looks like the fish think so too. Assuming you are in Texas, where are you finding Yellow Perch? I thought those were more northern fish.

What do you use to strip the paint off of baits? I have a couple factory baits that need a face lift.

If you knock off the clear with sand paper like 320 grit the paint comes off fairly easy with brake fluid or tb cleaner. FYI...some plastic gets soft if you leave it in contact with brake fluid to long....
