Choices are still pretty slim right now Blake, with all the lakes still over flowing. We should be going back to Marine Creek. I hope everyone brought their "A" game because Nathan is on a roll and got that lake locked in.. LOL.

Haha well I actually won't be there this week. I forgot my wife has a work event Thursday night. I'll be back next week though ready to hopefully catching some fish.

So it was another great turn out. Had 18 people show up.50% of the people caught fish. Congrats to Jay for the win. He had a total of 3 fish that counted, and won big bass with a 13-3/4" kicker. He took home the $95 gift certificate and $85 for the big bass. Boy was the little lake full of people though.. We had a few idiot boaters, a few paddle boats, and a bunch of kids swimming all over the place? Man.. LOL. Thanks again to Aris @ Mariner Sails for all the support. See everyone again next week. Im pretty sure we'll get a huge turn out if the weather stays awesome.

We are thinking about extending the hours to at least 9:30 starting next week with weather getting nicer and daylight holding on longer will be good to extend the time.

thanks for organizing the tournament. I had a great time. It was my first for this series, and everyone made me feel very welcome. I like the laid back atmosphere and good spirits. I highly recommend this set of events for anyone just starting out. And a special thanks to Aris and the Mariner Sails team. I'll be out shortly to spend my winnings. woot

I also like the idea of extending the fishing time.
