With certain lakes being closed, do you think the benefit of no pressure will help the fishery? With a month of little to no pressure will the fishing be better once certain lakes reopen? Just a thought

I don't think the fishery will benefit much from closures over the long haul, but I sure bet the fishing will be way better than average for a few days once they reopen! The high water on the other hand could be a great thing for the fisheries. Good spawns and lots of new habitat even for a short time will be a welcome shot in the arm for a lot of lakes.

Yes, my question was in the short run like the first week or so they reopen. Debating if some are worth the trip. But yes, the next 4-5yrs should really benefit from this spawn and high water for the fry to hide in
