I now have lake Lewisville in my backyard. The green belt is now flooded and have trees in about 10' of water. How long does it take the bass to come up to these areas. What is the best way to fish it.

Best way to fish it is to throw a line out there, grab a chair and and enjoy a beer on the porch while fishing.

If I were you, I'd go with buzz baits, chatter baits, and spinnerbaits. Anything to give the fish an indication on where your lure is. Not sure I'm going to try soft plastics for a while...until the chocolate milk clears up.

Every day above ground is a good day... A day on the water; even better.

I'd go buy an ugly stick, dig out some abu 4600s, buy some goldfish and wait for one of those huge catfish to creep up there. Plus the bass will eat the goldfish too. . .
