Guys I just put an ulterra 112 on my boat. Had an minn kota edge 70 on there before. Had no trolling motor interference before, but as I understand it the new one has a different electronic controller That causes interference. i have an lowrance hds 8 up front and a hds10 on the console. When I turn on the trolling motor, I get lines on both units until I release the button(on sonar transducer on front and rear also..., no interference that i can see on downscan). No interference on high. I've tried using the lowrance filters with no change. The trolling motor cables are running down one side of the boat and everythung else down the other. 3 separate batteries for trolling. I've also tried the hummingbird choke, it doesn't help. Both graphs are updated to newest software. I don't know what else to do. Any suggestions?

let me put a ground internally in the motor. kills it 99% of the time.

Do you have to run a wire down inside the shaft and into the lower unit? I'm worried about the auto deploy mechanism (it has a belt gear that runs the lent of the shaft.) If you aren't worried about any of that I'll come have you work on it.
