Finally got some stubbys!!! Headed up there this weekend ive been before but never caught any cats. Just some nice bass... wanting to put some in my freezer any suggestions on findin up would be fantastic!!!

Shallow structure. Flooded grass, timber, rocks/rip rap, etc... should all be holding channel cats right now. Cant really go too shallow.

Shallow should be the ticket, but you will also find them in the trees by the channel.
Fish down and at different depths until you locate them.
If you have a cast net, try to catch some fresh shad and use them on another line, as well as the stubby's.
I have done the best on shad at Buchanan for catfish.
