Last time I was there it was 10ft lower. I forgot what it looks like full, can't wait to see!

Yup! I drove over the dam today and the water looks like chocolate milk that has not been thoroughly stirred. Denton Creek is still in flood stage dumping more water into Lake Grapevine with more rain in the forecast. It is going to get even higher.

It's funny. I got so accustomed to bank fishing the TC area of the lake when it was 12' down, that now I have no idea how to fish it. Also, the last couple of times I fished the banks with the new water levels, I've lost a whole lot of lures to all that brush that's now freshly underwater. I'll definitely need to re-learn how to fish the new bank structure, once the water settles down.

Also need to spool up some braid to rip my lures out of all that submerged brush.

Here's a jaw-dropper for everyone. If this rain keeps up, they're going to have to release water!

Who ever thought that would be a possibility 4 months ago???

The have just about shut down releases. They are going to let it flood until downstream conditions improve...then they will let Lewisville out first. It is 3' feet high and rising. Expect it to be double that in a couple of days.

This will give you a good idea of the inflow:

And this shows you releases:
