2003 Ranger 185 VS
2003 Yamaha 150
current prop 23P in bad shape
Hole shot is good
Max speed 56 MPH
RPM at max speed 5500

What brand and size is best for this?
Thanks
Steve

Just get it fixed. If you give Steve all the information he can tweek it for you but about 60 is what you should expect from that setup.

Speed with load or not. RPM's. Hole shot. How does it hold in rough water?

He can make it look good as new or tell you if there is a better choice.

A Turbo TXP 23P will give you what you are looking for. If you get your current prop fixed you could get a spare.

I am keeping the current as a spare, it does not really lift the nose like on my old boat. Might be the Ranger just rides flatter.
