Best eatin catfish I've ever had was from Lake Fork. I do believe the catfishing is better than the bass fishing on Fork.

Catfish will swallow #6 treble hooks pretty easily. Just buy the regular old hooks...not the fancy plated ones and cut the line short on deep hooked fished. Never try to pull a hook out of the gullet if you plan on releasing the fish. #4s will not cause this problem as often.
