I just wanted to say thanks to the staff at Oak Ridge. I stayed there this past Monday & Tuesday. The people were friendly & helpful. The food was excelent & reasonably priced. My room (#1) was clean & comfortable( the television reception wasn't great, but i wasn't there to watch tv anyway). The store has a nice selection of tackle as well as a great selection of relatively high end rods & reels. The fishing was tougher than i expected, but i did manage to catch some decent fish in my two & a half days on Fork.

I've never stayed there but I stop in to eat at least once a day while I'm out there, I buy tackle from them more than anywhere here in Dallas. The people are great, the food is amazing, it's a great place for sure.

Our motto is: "If it's good, tell your friends. If it's not, let us know so we can fix it." Now that I know about the TV reception problem, I'll get it fixed! (I'm betting it needs new coax connectors on the cables.) Hope to see you again soon!

I eat there often.....I'd stay there more if they'd update the rooms! I don't know when you had a chance to see them last but we are continuously updating our rooms. Over the last five years, we've: - Replaced box springs and mattresses where they were needed. - Replaced shower stalls as needed. - Installed high-efficiency shower heads and faucets in all the rooms. - Installed high-efficiency pressure-assist toilets in all the rooms. - Replaced pretty much all of the AC units. - Put new bedding in all the rooms. - Put new window coverings in all the rooms. - Put mini-fridges in all the rooms. - Put microwaves in all the rooms. - Replaced the antenna TV system with DirecTv in all the rooms. - Put 32" flat panel TVs in all of the standard rooms At some point, we'll do some cosmetic surface upgrades (paint, flooring, vanities, furniture, etc.) but we'll probably spread those out over time into multiple (manageable) projects too. We don't claim to be the Hilton but our rooms are clean, comfortable and functional AND we continue to make them better all the time. At this point, I have no problem telling fishermen that they can even bring their wives!

Always enjoy stopping in and visiting with Barry, Tracy, Ernie and Remy. Usually costs me some cash as its hard to leave without a bait or three.

I have a trailer at west fork landing (old Val's landing) the other side of the lake and will always drive over to eat there. Love the salad bar and great food, people are always friendly. Barry and his wife have a great place. Always have to pet the chocolate lab. Great bait store for a lake shop. I tell everyone they are better then Tiffany's.

Barry, Ernie and the rest of the staff are great! The food and service are at the top of my list at Fork. Keep it up Oak Ridge.

Not only is Oakridge always working on improving the customer experience they are very involved behind the scenes in promoting the Lake Fork area and making the Lake a great place to visit year round. From 4th of July Block Parties, to Thanksgiving Feasts, to Christmas with Santa they are working non-stop making things great at the Lake. When I moved to Lake Fork in September of 2013 Tracy was one of the first people we met. We ended up eating at Oakridge 4 out of the next 5 days. When I started work on the 6th day my coworkers went to Oakridge for lunch making it 5 out of 6. (and almost every week since) When I became a local business owner Tracy and Barry had nothing but good advice and encouragement for me. They are truly part of what makes living and visiting Lake Fork such a memorable experience. Picture is of me and my grandson Nicholas on Oakridge's dock the first day we arrived at Lake Fork

Last I been there the room was in great condition! Even the TV worked fine, for after hours of course, the food was as good as it gets. And I even caught a few bass off their banks. I went in a boat as well of course. And in case anyone hasn't been there, the ramp they have is very good!
