I already have the scale and floats but I need a dry erase board. Anybody know of the best place to get one or should I just make my own? I need the board to be numbered not colored because my culling system ball floats are numbered 1-8 even though I realize I only need 5. I kinda prefer the colored system though. Any feedback about what you use is greatly appreciated.

Make your own. Go to walmart and get the board then use permanent marker for the numbers so they do not come off.

That seems like a lot of trouble. Why not just use a cull beam?

Buy you one of these and it will eliminate a dry erase board. It's already numbered through 8. You simply weight your fish, store it in the correct spot then put the fish in the live well. Once you have 5, when you catch your next fish, you weigh on this scale and replace the smallest fish in the scale memory then remove that cull ball out of the fish in the live well and put in the new fish.

well for backup incase the batteries go dead or whatever else could happen Why not just carry extra batteries? We tried the dry erase board for about a month. It was more trouble than it was worth. If it gets wet at all the marker starts coming off. Not to mention if the marker tip gets wet it doesn't work.

Rather than have to carry a dry erase board then have to worry with where to keep your markers and making sure they don't dry out, not to mention you're going to have the problem of trying to write on a dry erase board that could possibly be moist and you can't wipe it off....
....just carry extra batteries.
Were you the guy that said the sky was falling on Y2K and cashed in his retirement and spent it on a storm shelter, groceries and bottles water? LOL

They have cull rings where u can put the weight on it! Turn a couple buttons and there u go!
