I'm probably the worst one here. Jigs are my worst enemy. Probably the easiest bait to catch fish on and I cant do it. I've tried every kind with every trailer and can't get bit.
I know fish are where I'm throwing them cause i can follow up with a senko in same spot and nail em.

Some of these answers are really surprising. For me it's an A-Rig. Never thrown one, and don't plan to.

Fish head/ horse head under spins like Ashley won the classic with. For the longest time I was using the wrong size trailers and was having issues with the bait spinning like chopper blade. I solved that issue, now I just need to get a bite. Still waiting.

I want to contribute to this thread by saying I made my parents buy me banjo minnow AND the helicopter lure, and I caught a few fish with both. I have never caught a fish with chatterbaits or A rig. I even took the swim fluke off my A rig and tossed it by itself and caught fish, but not on the A rig.

A-rig, underspin, large spoon,swim jig, have caught one fish on a drop shot. This got me thinking that I need to work on a lot of techniques

seems like a-rig is a common answer. for all of those guys I just have to say once you get bit it is addictive. the fish about knock even the big swimbait rods out of your hand and usually the quality of fish is up there. you just have to get the a-rig, baits, and where you are throwing right. I have noticed over the last 18 months it seems to be diminishing returns as fish figure it out (Lake Fork/Texoma). I have been throwing a little bit less.

a-rig(thrown it but not much) & swimbaits(other than when used as a chatterbait trailer)

Tubes, under spins, a-rig(don't even own one, since it's not legal in the sancioning body I fish in), top water plug style baits, and jerk baits ( I own a bunch of vision 110's... Haven't had a good reason to use one. Ever).
I have caught the most on t-rigs, jigs, and swim baits. I target nasty cover A LOT!
Also, haven't caught a fish on live bait in around 35-40 years.
Eat. Sleep. Fish.

Big swimbaits and drop shots. Haven't really thrown them enough to build confidence

I'll add to the A-Rig statistic. Never caught anything on it.
Also have never caught anything on a big swimbait either.
Don't really use either all that much though.
