The "best"?
Get a Daiwa SVF-XBD 7'4" X Heavy Steez. It's very light. VERY strong. Has double footed titanium SiC guides made for braid. Is rated for 55-80 lb braid.
I know there are other technique specific frog rods, but this is the only one I've seen that is designed specifically for braid and frog walkin.

It depends on what you are fishing as far as cover. You could have up to 3 technique specific frog rods. If you are just wanting a general frog rod id go with something in the 7'3 range. For what you pay id get one custom built on a high quality blank. That way i get to decide the set up on guides handle etc.

Your the the first one to bring up the Inferno rod, do you have any experience with it? Seems to be a popular frog rod at APT

APT has some really nice Halo rods that would work well too. I was impressed with them.
I bought a 7' 11" MH rod for A rigs and it doubles as my froggin rod.

Not a big frog fishing guy so I'm not going to crazy on MY rod. But I did just get one and I'll try it tomorrow. Cabela's ZX rods are on sale for $69.99 now down from $99.99. I bought the 7'3" frog rod. Like I say not much frog fishing in my lake and I think the rod will make a good lite A-rig rod,if I ever choose to use one. But it will definitely get a work out on the Lunker Plunker this year. If you frog fish a ton get the best you can afford. The 735C is a great rod and also works great as deep water worm or jig rod. I have 4 Megabass XX rods and they are sick sticks
