Anyone have a crappie report thinking of heading out in my new kayak tomorrow any advice would be appreciate thanks.

I have not been in a few years BUT a Benbrook legend had told me before that from sometime in April up until day time highs are consistently 90 degrees, you could find them in the rocks at the dam. Hopefully someone else that has recent experience will point you in the right direction.

I've moved away from Benbrook, so haven't been on it in a while, but as I recall, the timber starts to produce pretty well by this time in April. Drop a jig or minnow 10 to 15 feet straight down next to the main tree trunk, and don't stay long on any tree that's not producing. Good luck, and give us a report.
