It's not the people on the lake, it's the creeks flowing through areas that are full of litter. Almost all of the trash you see at Arlington and most other lakes is washed in. Styrofoam cups and plastic bottles.

People on the west side trash it out. They don't care. Empty clorox bottles, empty automotive oil bottles, wood pallets, tires, cups, diapers, all kinds of trash, from trashy people.

obviously you have never been to White Rock Lake or Lake Arlington, even on its worst day White Rock does not come close to Lake Arlington.

In the metroplex it's Arlington. I once caught a doubled up condom there by accident on a C-rig. But have you ever been to Leon. I swear it's a freaking junk yard or landfill that has water in it.

Truth. Arlington on a regular day looks like a landfill. You should see that cesspool after a good rain. . .it's gross.

First lake I ever fished in was Arlington. Got snagged on a refrigerator, and a box springs in the same day. Wading on the west side. I couldn't believe it. I've always found Joe Pool pretty clean. Went bank fishing at Grapevine the morning of July 5 one year, and was disgusted.
