Every now and then you get a trip too the wall where the reds will hit every and anything and today was that day for us. Me and my gf each caught a keeper on our first 3 casts and had our 6 fish limits in roughly 10mins. And it only stayed hot. We caught them on silver spoons, free lined perch, and perch on a balloon. You could see schools of reds hitting the surface chasing bait (boiling water). They did this about 30 yards from the wall. All you had to do was land a spoon or perch close to it and set the hook! Biggest fish was 32 1/2" and several over 30"! Great trip and I hope to have this happen again!

She fishes, ties her own knots, throws a cast net, and unhooks her own fish. She's a pretty solid fishing partner and that def makes her a keeper lol.

She fishes, ties her own knots, throws a cast net, and unhooks her own fish. She's a pretty solid fishing partner and that def makes her a keeper lol. that is awesome! My wife also is my fishing buddy. She loves it. We don't own a big boat. She wants one though. For now we are stuck on the banks, but that doesn't bother her. A good comfortable lawn chair, a possibility of bending poles and she is "game-on" for fishing 365 days/yr. Her only downfall is she doesn't like getting on the water at sunrise. That takes some getting used to. That problem is... She loves to fish, I love to catch. She is still in training. More reasons to keep at it. Eventually, we'll get over that hump. At the end of the day when I'm worn out, and ready to go, she normally is not ready and will argue with me about it. I literally have to get rid of the bait for her to leave. LOL. I love it. Next step for her training... "how to clean fish". She is not so eager to clean fish as she is to catch them. She will help me clean the fillets and package them though. I'm not complaining. I'm headed to Cali sunday. I'll be on the bank with wifey and my grandson. Good luck and tight lines!
Shut up and fish!
