I've used the Daiichii hooks a few times. Never had any problems with them.
I have had a few issues with house brand hooks from GCO (Green Caddis Outfitters). Their tempering is kinda hit and miss. Had a few hooks I could tie in a knot. Maybe 4 hooks out of 100 used.
