I will be fishin this one by myself Darrell I hear you've got a lot of good spots on the Stine. If you could describe your boat it will be easier for us to follow you around. Ha. Lookin forward to meeting you.

I was out this weekend, and I still don't think the spawn has started down south and mid lake area. All but one of the ones I cleaned were all females and they all still had their egg sacs in them. I caught a couple of them off brush in 18-20' of water and the rest came out of brush in 9-12' water. Only caught one back in a cove where they normally come in and spawn, and it was a dink. Talked to one of the homeowners there and he said he was catching a few here and there but there still hasn't been a big wave of them come through. I'm not sure if it's the new water or if everything is so muddy and I just can't catch the fish that are there or if they really haven't came in yet or what, but it's all a learning experience. I'm sure they're shallow somewhere, I just haven't been able to/haven't really taken the time to find them. I think in a couple weeks when the tourney is creeks and road beds and bridges in 8-18' of water will be where they're at.
These guys always put on a great little tournament and if you come out and catch 7 there's always a decent chance to make a little money doing something you'll be doing anyways.
