Haven't posted in a while and haven't read much about the bite at good ole B'port either so here's mine.
Last Friday got (2) 20 inchers (hybrids) after (4) hours deadstickin. Went back Saturday and never got a bite. No sandies at all. Spent a couple hours trolling for them too!
My question is this, anyone find the sandies? Should be a full blown spawn bite going on but I couldn't find any. Water temp was 64 deg. by three o'clock Saturday.
What the?

The 2013 creel survey had our Sandies down 50%, due to poor spawning conditions. They will bounce back. They should be up the river or at least at the mouth of it. I would start by checking any of the sandy islands that have wind blowing against them (current) That big Sandbar in front of the scout camp would be a good bet too.
