Say you are standing in the creek looking upstream. you have a big fast moving creek to the left, and a small creek to your right. Go up the right creek. Once you get into that creek, its shallow at first but gets up to 4 feet deep. Throw in the deep section. between the rapid at the merge and the rapid 50 yards up stream.

Went up creek with a buddy this morning in our kayaks. Put in at Ray Hubbard and paddled almost up to miller bridge. Carp are spawning like crazy but that's about all the action we saw. Didn't put in a lot of fishing time as we were more in for the paddle trip. Think the temp drop got all the bass sluggish.

Went out this morning at NT12, 3rd cast with a white rooster caught a 3-4lbs catfish. Fished some deep pockets around the area and picked up 8 good size keepers and my gf caught a nice crappie. Still a lot of small ones but overall it was fun. Saw a dead copperhead on the trails and a lot of spawning buffalo. Went to fish at miller bridge before calling it a day, we fished right at the first dam(one down stream from the bridge) and got kicked out by one of the construction guys. He was saying we had 5 mins to get to our cars which was parked at the Rowlett park or else it was going to get towed. Another guy across the creek got kicked out also. anyone been having problems fishing around that area?

I heard some people got kicked out. I snuck by at 3:00 pm. There were several people there but nobody got kicked out. You must look like a trouble maker. Just kidding.

Full of the most lock jawed sandies I've ever seen this afternoon... Practiced bouncing my fly off ther noses. Since they wouldn't bite I figured I'd annoy as many as I could.

There are no fish in sonic pond EDIT: Except 1 20lb catfish

Barometric pressure has gone up quite a bit today, if you believe in that sort of thing.

Nah. May try tomorrow if I can get an early enough start. It's just such a far drive from here.

Creek x is what dreams are made. Abundance of sandies. Throw an empty hook down and you might be able to catch a fish. It's where Carey makes his Sandbass videos. If you don't catch one there, you need to find a new hobby freak

Is access to creek x the same ? Last year all of the new houses being built looked like this year I might not be able to find my way in.

I am also looking into launching a canoe to get in there.

it seems every fish is a hybrid until its landed.

see also is it a hybrid / I think its a hybrid

You could launch a canoe, but you might catch a jig to the head in some parts...
