Haven't been in a while but used to fish it around this time of year. Has anyone been having luck out there with the sandies or hybrids?

The FM 423 bridge on the N end of The Colony is under construction, and you can't drive down to the creek any more. You can park further up the hill and walk down, though. That's close to the mouth of the creek. There's a place further upstream where you used to be able to park and walk in on the dead end of Teel south of Lebanon Rd. Teel dead ends right into the creek bottom, and you can get to the water with a little walk. The hard part will be finding a place to park (legally). I caught a mess of sandies there a couple of years ago before they put up the no parking signs.

No sign of sandies. I caught 2 small Lmb in 1/2 hour or so.

I found a place to park and walk down to the creek about 250 yds from the 423 bridge and spent about an hour fishing there Mon just before sunset. Didn't get a single bite.
