I went to the slip today to check on my boat. The lake is the highest I have ever seen it. One of the slip holders stated it was up over 2' at his slip.

I check the TPWD site where it stated Joe Pool was almost 1' above Conservation Pool level so they probably have the gates open.

According to those I talked with fishing was not good at the marina fishing barge nor the slips yesterday nor today. One person at the barge had caught two small crappie around 2 this afternoon, nobody else had caught anything. People stated they did not catch anything yesterday either.

I talked with some of the slip holders and received the same story. Nobody was catching anything from the slips and usually the bass are on the slips even when the crappie are not there.

I'm planning to go tomorrow. Wanted to let the lake settle more before trying. Thanks for the report!
