Navigating the FLW website is a cluster.

Their new website is a mess, I wonder if the writing is not already on the wall with ranger being sold to bass pro shops, their is arguably a deeper field talent wise fishing the bassmaster opens this year. Is the FLW tour relegated to AAA status?, I've always thought it made zero sense to have two separate pro circuits, kinda like back when the NFL and AFL or NBA and ABA co-existed,

Chad and I were frustrated with the new website all week. We use to spend hours analyzing pairings, results, etc. You couldn't do anything this week. Absolutely beyond belief FLW would release a new website a week before the first tour event and not have it tested! there have been so many bugs, lost functionality, and problems. no excuse for an organization like FLW to do all their testing in production.
I like the live FLW broadcasts, but today it was intermittent. even with the live feed problems it was such an exciting finish! A bunch of kickers and a close ending.

They must have got the same group our government did. I wonder if they paid the same.

I was told that when they tested it all was good. It was not until the system got bogged down with traffic that they had issues they were unaware of.

It was not until the system got bogged down with traffic that they had issues they were unaware of. load testing is part of testing. the problems Chad and I had were they removed functionality. you can no longer look at pairings to compare weights between Pro and Co, you can't sort the columns, you can't drill down in angler to their individual tourneys (work around now is doing through fantasy page), and they got rid of the cool pie chart. if you were browsing from mobile devices the site would crash your browser if trying to search. they will get the speed worked out and little bugs, I'm worried they aren't going to add the functionality back.

I keep going back and forth whether to email them or not, sure they are getting a ton, but then again maybe they didn't know how many liked that functionality. Chad and I are kind of power users though, most of the Pros don't even care.

This is what happens when the contract goes to the lowest bidder. Im just saying. or maybe someone in-house over their head? they told us at Okee last year (February?) that they were starting a website redesign. So that was 13 months for a website redesign? Usually a website redesign you keep the functionality, but just change the style (which is pretty easy). Appears they changed the style, but just removed a bunch of the functionality. I don't get it, but have better things to worry about.
