plus the lake level should make it really hard for them to even make it to the mouth of RC.

Cross the bridge by the ex-marina,look across, and it's real easy to see where the creek comes in. Easy to see ribbon of water that is the creek. And,it's connected to the lake.

No fishes up in there yet, or at least not biting minnows, jigs, spoons, inline spinners, flies, or plastics.

There are no fish in sonic pond EDIT: Except 1 20lb catfish

Saturday I walked from Miller Road to a couple hundred yards below the island where the two arms of the creek join up again. The only seriously low water was within a 100 yards below the island. But not low enough to hinder the fish.
The only fish I saw and heard were caught were "dinks" as one fellow I know likes to put it.

Saturday took a look the south side of 66 bridge. Water was deep but very still and thick with algae( blame the blockage on miller) Sunday I went to the end of the gravel bike trail to the "purgatory hole" marker 15. The water was at a good level, some slow current. Didn't catch anything. Current was very slow. Looked like a little under water fish activity but none on my hook.
Its Tuesday and the sleet is here. I call it a good think as it still counts as rain.
January this year had more rain that the first four months of last year combined.

it seems every fish is a hybrid until its landed.

see also is it a hybrid / I think its a hybrid

Do you think they would be holding outside the creek on the main lake? Just trying to get a hang of white fishing. This will be my first year trying it

It's about to be on! Got even more rain coming Sunday and Monday. Can't wait for it to dry up a little. It's going to be way too muddy for a while.

Went to the creek yesterday. I park by the park across from the abandoned marina and hike to the first bend around that area near the mouth. With all the rain there were hundreds of carp in the flooded flats from all the rain. Kicked my way through the carp to have no luck for whites. Creek looks perfect, only thing missing is the whites!

Are you saying you walked across the lake bed after all that rain? eek2

Glad to see you didn't end up stuck in mud up to your waist.

Went to the creek yesterday.......... I was a little further a bout a half mile up by the purgatory hole. Lots of water, strong flow but no signs of fish... YET

The lake is higher now than it was last year at this time. Hopefully that encourages more hybrids to show up in the creek this year.

I can't imagine that the water will be clear enough to do any good until several days from now.
