What are your go to baits and water depths for early March. Especially in this cold weather we've been having.

Usually looking really close at the fish finder monitor in that 8-16 foot range, sharp drop offs to deeper water close to spawning areas. That being said, this past weekend with the severe cold, fish had pulled back to 20 and 30 feet. If we ever get a four/five day warming trend with warmer night time temps and sunshine during the day, I'd try very shallow also.
If the fish have pulled back due to cold--jigs, spoons, drop shot, tail spinners are my go to If they are in that 8-16ft range--deeper diving crankbaits, crig, bladed swim jigs, deeper/heavier lipless crankbaits, deeper jerkbaits, slow rolled heavier spinner baits If they are shallow--lighter lipless crankbaits, jerkbaits, squarebills, bladed swim jigs
Arigs are really popular this time of year also.

Nailed it.
