Hey all
Hitting the water tomorrow. Either going to Robert or grapevine. Any word on the bite at either lake? How are the launches at grapevine. Any better, than most? Any and all input is greatly appreciated.

Hey all. I hit Roberts for 6 hours yesterday. I tried everything. Wackey rig on the 16 ft. COE piles, Carolina from shallow to 16, cranks, flukes and crappie jigs. Not a fish. I saw one large fish against a tree in 4 fow, threw three times with no interest. Any one have any pointers or ideas what I was doing wrong. Water temp started out at 54 was 57 in the creek heads by 4. Going this weekend hoping for better results. Any advice is appreciated

Roberts fishes slow in winter...and summer...and sometimes fall...but when they do turn on...someone let me know.

Grapevine has been really slow. Might be better tomorrow since there have been a couple of warming days.

Try a suspending jerkbait. Fish it very slow on the pauses. Alabama rig will work as well.

Save your time and money, get all the honeydos done, and let the water warm a bit.
