Whats your ideal pre spawn water temp?

For shallow fishing I like the bait fish up in less than 10 ft of water,and I see a lot of this happening at 58 degrees.As the baitfish move up the hungry bass will be goarging on them,however 53 to 60 degrees is not bad either.When you run a bait through and see the shad scattering that's a good sign what ever the water temp is.

I like 60.... the trap bite is still around but not as strong, you can catch fish prespawn on a jig... and you can find them shallow looking around too... my favorite is the last

I like 60 with no cold fronts forecasted a week before the new or full moon. Rarely happens at Fork.

57, then I whack em and stack em. Well I found 57.9 degree water on Fork today,and thumped some good jig bass in 4' of water,started to take a photo of the graph and temp,but was too busy jerkin lips. Sorry I was unable to load photo
