Kevin,
Last year around that time, with water temps around 55-59 degrees, Dead sticking senkos & flukes in 15ft-25ft. Also fishing ledges/drop-offs with bushes and grass present with dd22's, & staycees. Mainlake flats located on points or adjascent to creeks with grass and or bushes & trees seemed to be the ticket. Hope this helps!!! Good Luck & Great Fishing

The water temp is already 52 there? Crazy, some of the lakes up here in the Metroplex haven't even reached 52 degrees...

I dont have any good news for yall, the fishing is tough. You may only get 5 bites, but there good bites. No big fish yet, unless you call 7 pounders big fish.

Hey All, I have had the pleasure if fishing with a big stick, Bass_Chump. The weather could not be worse this week. we have had three cold fronts back to back and that has created a tough bite. Todays temp was only 42 with rain. We have managed to catch some smaller fish on each day to make small limits averaging like 12 to 16lbs. no huge numbers and only one day of this week with a shot at catching some bigger fish. On Wed, we had one 7lbs and lost another about the same size, and averaged a 21lb stringer. Chump says maybe bigger either way they don't count unless they're in the boat! I will post the one pic of the 7lb tomorrow. I wish I had a better report to give ya'll, but I believe in being honest and realistic. Nobody finds them all the time.

Thanks Amistad Man, I am going to be there Sunday. I think the temp is supposed to get into the sixties and hopefully the fishing will pick up.
