I'm planning on taking my mother in law and son out to texoma tomorrow (Friday). Has the bite been better around sunrise or later in the day? Just trying to figure out if I need to wake those two up in the middle of the night or let them sleep in a little bit.
Any other info your willing to share about the fishing would be helpful also.

Thanks
Weston

Both will work. I'm going early hoping that the wind is more tolerable.

mourning bite will be over by 10a.m.,, evening bite last 2 hours before dark.. mourning bite seems to be more steady, but hooking bigger fish latter in day... throwing 1/2 to 1 oz. sassy shads or same size rooster tails... fallow the birds if they are working.. we have been having best luck 2-30 f.o.w. but don't dead-stick much good luck and maybe I will see you out there

Yes it does, actually it has quite a few LEDs around it. He just can't get it to run long enough to to even worry about the lights. bolt

For my second time on Texoma I thought we did pretty good. We caught 8 stripers with 5 of them overs (the biggest going 6.5-7 lbs).
