I didn't have to work this past Sunday so i called Frank and Roy to ask where the fish were biting from their previous trip and that i was going to be out there. Well i got lucky and Frank said he wanted to fish the morning shift and Roy wanted to fish the evening shift. So it worked out great.

I got to Franks dock and we headed out. Pulled up and in two minutes we had our first fish. We stayed in that area until about 12:45 PM and WE WORE THEM OUT. We boated 94 fish in four hours and 15 or so of them were the Hybrids the RHSA stocked because they were all 15 to 17 inches. Gonna be some Brusers next year. The sand bass we were getting were FAT and healthy, I have no idea where they have been all summer --LOL--. Any way Frank and I had a blast. and it was time for him to go in.

So when i dropped Frank off Roy was waiting . So we headed right back out there in the same area and Roy and I picked right up where Frank and I left off. Roy and I boated another 65 fish from 1:30 to 4:30 PM and we had a ball. The weather was perfect and the fishing was on like gang busters.

Saw Mike Luv to fish and his crew from a distance and also Bry Fly but we were too busy to go by and say hi. Talked to Johnny Procell at the ramp and saw him and his customers out that afternoon.

Want to holler a big shout out to Pat ( Fillet maker ) that the flies you donated at the Ray hubbard auction last year that i bought were catching 50% of the fish. You can make a darn good fly. And when i run out i am coming to you. We were using 1/2 to 3/4 slabs with a fly tied above. Didn't matter what color or type. I was using a god father from www.moestackleshop.com and a small TNT from www.redneckfishn.com ( Bryon Nolan). It was a great hero day after a long summer and fall of working and not catching many fish

Frank, Roy THANKS for fishing with me yesterday too bad we can't do that every day. You guys are awesome. thumb

Here are some of the pics . I did a quick bunch up of all the pics on each trip ( morning shift and afternoon shift --LOL-- ). The color is off but you can get an idea we were on the fish

The graph looked like this and more all day

Keith it seems like there is one day every early winter where you and I hit that same road bed and the battle of the year is on! It's unreal to catch that many fish (Yes we used a clicker!)and all were released. Judging by the number of hybrids caught the last few days next summer is shaping up to be phenomenal! Was such a blessing to sit out there on a cloudy gorgeous day and just laugh and catch for hours! Life just doesn't get any better than that! Thanks for the invite and see you again next December! We'll cross that "road" when we get to it!

Grey report Keith, I haven't even been on the water since the cooper trip so I must have been super lucky to hit it this weekend. Took amber and buddy Kenny, and we hammered em also. It was non stop till we just left em biting. We only fished about 3 hrs and estimated 75+. Hit three different parts of the lake and fish at all spots.

Sorry we didn't see you guys, had some creepers gettin close so we jetted to another spot.

See you guys on the water

Mike

Jeff Chandlers is still good. It is 3.7 at the end of the ramp and 2.8 at the loading dock. The channel is 3'foot 9' inches . No problem getting in and out. The ramp is kind of uneven at the end but i had absolutely no problem loading and unloading.

Mike , I haven't been on Hubbard since the day after cooper. Glad y'all got out there. I will holler at you next time

Frank, Roy i am still pumped about our stellar day out there --LOL-- roflmao
