Hey, I didn't mean to start anything. I was just providing a report on what I had been told about both fishing barges on Joe Pool.

Since I no longer fish barges I have to rely upon those who do. When I'm at my slip I walk over to the Park fishing barge and ask those there how the fishing is going. I have a vested interest in the Park barge since my slip is just across from it and if they're catching, maybe I'll catch a few. roflmao

It's rare for anybody to say they have fished both barges but it does happen from time to time.

I've fished both of them, Cedar Hill state park one is closer, but Lynn Creek is better IMO.

I usually fish the Cedar Hill State Park side and that's where I had the best of luck . I haven't been in a while but every since they moved the barge on Lynn Creek side I never had any success . I want to get back out there because they probably moving in . I usually do good at night there when the shad pile up in there I also catch a lot of sandbass too

Went to Joe pool this morning from 6 to 8, not a single bite. Fishfinder was cleared with no sight of fish any where.

I fished my slip for a few hours this afternoon while I did more clean up on the pontoon and slip area. Amazing how big a mess an area can become when you are away for months.

Since I had the rods set in holders I just used minnows on them. Had the same minnows on when I left that I started with. Guess I need to concentrate on one thing or the other. roflmao

I didn't see many people on the Park barge. However people were starting to come in around 5:30, as I left. I didn't walk over and ask how they were doing. It would have made me feel terrible to find out they were doing great when I had just struck out. roflmao

It's slow right now. The warm weather has messed things up. Gotta wait for another cold snap. Maybe tomorrow or Tuesday.

Same results as thump_addict. 11/30 evening bite was slow. 2 throwbacks and one big thump that felt like a keeper. But it will get better.

Kenny(?) did a good job blocking out all that light though.
