That's when you donate the cast net to the lake! WOW! I've caught 30-40 in a throw but that's crazy...and terrible!!

Blues and channels. There were a few keepers in there as well that got tossed back. 100 baby catfish, that will not be spine ing anybody You got that right! They are safe to handle now.

Last winter I netted 50+ channel cats, I just put the net in the livewell and went with my backup net, once I anchored down and setup to fish I started to get them all out, took me over an hour and a half, I could only imagine what it would be like to get that many out

I was scared to have them in the boat in case I saw a GW. Only took me about 45 minutes. I'm pretty good at snapping of catfish spines. Plenty of practice.

Once I finally removed all the catfish, my next two throws landed me 39 large bait fish. Gotta love taped nets. I'll take a 54+ fish per throw average any day.
