Loaded up and ready to roll. I will be at the Dam Store a little before 630AM and ready to help w/registrations. You can't miss the store, it's literally "The Dam Store" on the sign.

Weather.com is reporting a high of 53 tomorrow which will feel like a sauna compared to these 30s degree days we have had.

If you can't reach Palovik, feel free to call me at 512-573-3289 for directions or questions.

I too almost got a bite. Stuck to my two rod plan. Square-bill and t-rig but no takers. Planned to fish my way north from Pond Creek ramp which I have done a few times with mixed results but changed my plan at the last minute and headed to the south. Guess that SE wind pushed all the fish north of where I was. Off the water around noon with nary a nibble. Still a good day floating the boat. sorry I missed the gathering a Fuzzy's. Hope someone got into them. Be interested to hear what was working and not. fish thanks Mark for putting this on!

Thank you to Mark and Jackie for their work on this event. I caught a number of fish on a shakey head worm and a fluke the shakey head caught the majority though. It was cold and brutally windy but I managed 60.25'' for first place (5 small fish). The last three hours of my fishing I was probing the deeper channels for a big fish but only caught more small ones. Never did figure out where the 20 inchers we're hiding. All and all it was a good time fishing cold and all. The next event is going to be on lake grapevine in the first part of December so it will probably be 80deg for that one who_knows hope to see more people out for that one. Thanks again to Mark for doing these I know that there is a lot going on for them.

The weather people were wrong as usual. I spent the day on bass arts bass boat and it might have hit 45. I was thinking of you guys out there on yaks freezing your buts off. 5 fish even if they were small isn't quite bad day at all.. if the weather is warmer for the next one I'll go.

Turned out to be a very windy and very cold day, wished the weather would have been better but that is Texas for sure. We had 6 brave souls show up to fish this event, 8 if you count Jackie and myself. The following showed up and ready to fish.

Deric Miller
Mike O'Neill
Jason Delfruisse
Terry Williams
Albert Lopez
Josh Walker

Big Bass went to Albert Lopez with 16.0"

Frist place is Jason Delfruisse, with 47.25"
Second went to Albert Lopez with 31"

Josh Walker and Albert Lopez took home one each TFO HOW demo rods.

Again had a cold great time on this one, thanks to everyone that made it out, we will be holding the final event on Grapevine the first or second weekend and will be on a Sunday. should have details shortly, just waiting on a sponsor to confirm what date is best. This will also be the Jackson Kayak Big Rig giveaway.

I had to bail around noon but good to catch up with everybody. I quickly figured out the empty marina slips were the best bet for getting out of the wind. Lost a good fish on a small swimbait and then caught one barely 14 inches on the rocks opposite the marina on a wacky rig. See y'all in December.
