My personal best came from Bonham not long before it was "discovered" and became well known. I caught her in February, she weighed 12 pounds 4 ounces.

There are still some good fish in Bonham but not near as many or as big as there used to be.

My best results now are off shore. Take the time to use your electronics and learn the off shore features of the he lake.

Thanks, Scott! Great advice. I'm a terrible structure fisherman but I guess everybody's got to start somewhere.

Been there 4 or 5 times and that equals my best day so far. But I usually only fish from sunup to around noon.

Wish the city would put a slot on the lake the 14 inch minimum is killing it! But there are still a lot of fish and big fish there just educated!!!
