Tiny Torpedo and a double prop shad bait made by H2O (Academy)

In memory of my childhood friend Dan Sterling, who taught me at an early age how to catch bream with a hand-line, and who unknowingly hooked me on fishing for life.

I throw Torpedos way more than poppers. Clear and Baby Bass. You can tune the blades some and it works like a buzz bait, only better don't sink when you stop.

I still throw some old ones - an X-Ray yellow Heddon Wounded Spook and a chrome Pico Slasher.

My favorite top water is still the Rapala Prop X. I'll fish it in 3 ft or 30 ft of water and catch fish.

Yo-Zuri 3DB Series Prop.

I have them in Prism Silver Blue and Prism Shad. Runs true and easy to get skipping and jumping, or you can work it like a small walk bait (zara puppy) with some practice.

I fish a torpedo a lot. Clear or bone color for most situations. I throw all sizes but I really like the tiny torpedo when the fish are keyed onto smaller shad.
