Well me and a Buddy tried Whitney in my boat yesterday. Didn't catch nuttin but a Sun Burn but caught plenty of it. Got to St Park just before sun up, found shad in the cove at boat ramp at first day light. Marked or at least thought we marked fish (learning the fish finder) in several spots from 20' - 45. Drifted, Anchored and never caught anything. That lake is Crazy Deep, 16-18' low ?? and we were still in 50-60' water most of the Day.

Lake is about 8" low. Fishing is decent 18 - 24 ft right now, in flats along edge of channels in the upper end of the lake.

We did pretty good drifting by the dam on Thursday. No big fish but some good eater size blues. Most our fish came on flats between 25-40 ft
