Hey, We are traveling through Texas next week 8/23-8/31 and will be making a stop at Sam Rayburn, Fork, and Ray Roberts. We will most likely visit each lake for a couple days, however, we are unsure of any patterns, depths, etc which might help us in catching that bass of a lifetime. We will be fishing off of a boat. We are just a couple of college students from Wyoming trying to catch some good bass. Any advice you could lend would be appreciated. Thanks

Where are you from in Wyoming? I fish the Greybull a ton there south of Cody and live there part of the year.

I have to agree with Jaret's recommendation & believe me, he knows a thing or two about catching BIG fish. Good Luck, Mike

We currently live in Laramie while we attend the University of Wyoming. Grey Bull is a good spot. Have you ever fished the Flaming Gorge? Big Smallies swimming in that lake.

I'm not sure you guys understand how hot it's going to be out on the lake. Good luck with your adventure!

Well just got a call and I get the pleasure of fishing with these University of Wyoming Fishing Team members Tues Night/Wed afternoon. A friend of mine knows these young men for awhile now, however he is going to be out-of-town and ask for my help. All I could say was Sure. These boys are trying to save as much money as possible I guess, so I'm going to get w/BarryH @ Oakridge to see if he can help a little. They said they were bringing a tent, I dont think they quite understand what they might be in for. They are in El Paso as of a couple of hours ago, and heading to T-Bend for a day or two. So if anyone can help with a room to stay there please contact me please, we cant let these aspiring young anglers be out in our heat the whole time. Or anything we members can do for these boys. many thanks
