Does anyone know where a good spot to purchase minnows near lake lavon would be? I am thinking of trying to catch some sandies near the damn and don't know where to buy the minnows. Thank you....

Kinda depends. Shad? Catch and hold your own. Sto bought shiners? Depends on where you are coming from and where you're putting in. I've never been thrilled with ANY of the minnows I've ever purchased in the area so I don't use them except about once every two years. Where you get them doesn't matter if they all stink. Wish I had a brighter outlook for you.
