we went out for a couple hours today had planned to crappie fish, but didn't have much luck. so we searched for sandbass and they wouldn't stay up long enough to get on them. I noticed a school of fish suspended it about 7-10 ft rigged him up about 5ft deep with a cork and minnow. I really figured they were sandbass I was shocked when he started pulling in spotted bass three cast in a row. I never found anything I could get them to bite on. I did get to enjoy watching him fight them on the.micro zebco. he said this one had to be about 10lbs I think he may be fishing for a.long.time after.I heard that.

I don't get it. Why is anyone challenging his estimate?? Looks like a STICK to me. That boy gotz skillllz!!! Last time I held a fish that went from the middle of my chest down to my knees............it was over 10 lbs! He's probably UNDER estimating that fish's size. But, when you got mad skillz.............you can afford to do that. Bet he catches many more that size just this year alone.

Way to go Hunter!!! Mike from Missouri is sitting up here in St. Louis wishing he was as good as you!

Thanks guys, wish I could have got him on a few more fish, but he is happy anytime we can get on the lake. He will be even more excited when he finds out in the morning I got offered a job on a different shift and will be home every evening now. 4 years of working evenings have made me miss a lot with the kids and wife, sure hope I don't ever have to work second shift again. Going to 3rd shift 10:30pm to 7am I'm looking forward to it, won't have to miss anything with the kids now and got a pay increase.
