Staying at popes landing this weekend. Is there a boat lane out of their place? Also if anyone has been there how are their ramps?

Idle out well past the point on the left and then head towards the bridge or just to left of it along the roadbed. Don't hold me to it completely though...

you can actually run out, there is a clear path, ask someone to show you or point it out

It's only a short idle, if it were me I would throw the trolling motor down and start fishing honestly

I have a lake house across the cove so I am very a familiar with the area. The boat lane has marker buoys. When you come out of the boat ramp go left to the road. Find the 1st buoy then take off. I believe when you get to the 3rd one and you go right make you get the next two buoys. There is a set of stumps that you can mistake for buoys to the right so look left. Other than that your good to go.

Thanks,

Darrel in the store can show you the route to the boat lanes. They have the best ramps on the lake.

Thank you all for the advice. I like catching fish but safety is my first concern.
