Been fishin at crystal beach and rollover pass with nothin much to show for it. Using artificials in the surf but I'm new to surf fishin. Using saltwater assassins and sand eels in a variety of colors in jigheads. Tried spoons and topwaters as well. Anybody got any bright suggestions?

This time of year, I would try the bolivar pocket with live shrimp or Gulps.

The area on the Gulf side of the N. Jetty. Some maps just refer to it as "the Pocket"
