Just to confirm, tandem fishing is ok correct? I remember seeing it was ok on your website previously, but now I don't see anything regarding that. Trying to find a way to get out there tomorrow morning!

I do not recall it on the Web page , but at the first tournament it was voted to not allow tandem anything. Sorry if there was any confusion.

Also smart phones are allowed and preferred, but if using a special phone or camera please bring USB cord

Jackie and I got out for a couple hours today, this lake is on fire with the full moon.

Not trying to be negative, but for a tourney that is open to so many options for fishing why are you not accepting tandem kayak? I know your first event specifically said open to tandem on the website and that's what made me and my wife interested checking it out. And also since no other tourneys are accepting tandem and you were accepting all different fishing situation.

Oh well.

Update: I got over being whiney and left my wife at home and came to the tourney :-)

So whats the results? How did everyone do today? I wanna fish this lake but was at work all day today.

A big thank you goes out to both Mark and Jackie for putting together and running this tournament. They totally went out of their way to make everyone feel welcome. Even though the fishing was extremely slow, it was nice to join in. For those that stayed till the end, everyone was a winner with taking home a door prize. The winner had at least five fish, second place and big fish was a 20 incher and a tie for third were 18.5 inch fish. Once again, thanks. Hope to do it again with you. Ron

Well everyone made it through a tough hot day. Little to no wind made the bite tough, but as always someone always catch's some fish.

First place went to Derric Miller with 5 fish for 78 3/4 not bad at all for a tough day.


2nd place and Big bass with 1 fish went to Keith Grissom with 20"


3rd place was a tie with Scott Hunter and Ron Frederich with 18 1/2"
