I know what they are and have the materials to make a few. My question is what are they good for? What do you all cook in them?

What size disc can you make? Have seen them used to fry as they use less oil than deep fryer or like a wok to stir fry.

Great for frying fish, stir fry, works excellent for fajitas. Cook your fajita meat, onions, and peppers in the center and warm up your tortillas around the edge.

I welded a piece of thick stainless wire around the top. Works great to drain the grease of fish or whatever you fry while still keeping it warm. They are also pretty good for breakfast stuff.

Pretty much whatever you want. We do fajitas, breakfast, brats. I've seen hot wings, burgers, fish etc.

It's perfect for when we go camping with the inlaws. It'll cook a mess of eggs and sausage while warming tortillas around the edge.
