I am wanting to shorten the handle on one of my spinning rods. Is there a place around the DFW area that will do this for a good price? Thanks.

I hack sawed mine off.. stuck some counterweights in it and wrapped duct tape over the end. Been using it that way for the last 8 years.

Circular saw with a fine tooth blade works great put a rubber cap on the end and your in business.

Mine got in the way skipping docks, and also hung up on one of my fat rolls.
