Sunday we fished Palestine in the rain. I got my butt handed to me by my wife but she caught her PB, 8.25 lbs and then followed it up later with a 7.76 lb. The other really cool thing is our original pattern wasn't working so we figured out a new pattern and it is obviously working. In addition to these two, we also lost another big fish. Stupid Photobucket would only let me put one picture in.

Way to go babe!

Awesome fish! Congratulations to your wife and glad you were able to share that moment with her.

That almost looks like Saline Bay behind the little island. But I ain't caught anything that big on that side of Saline Bay.

Way to go. Palestine is constantly pushing out 7-8lbrs to win Big Bass for tourneys.. Y'all may want to think about fishing the Monday nighters or Wednesday mornings if you're on a pattern

Thanks y'all. I think the pattern will be a solid one. I lost a big one that pulled me down twice and came unbuttoned and the she caught these two and the neat thing is they were all a good distance apart in different areas on the lake. It's cool when you can abandon a pattern and figure out a new one and hammer them.
