The Jackson seat is $200 and I thought that was steep. I heard this one is a "game changer" but that was from the Wildy fanboys. rolfmao I look forward to hearing the specs. I might even buy one to rig on my Outback instead of a Jackson seat like I planned...

It was me that said game changer and I still think so. The seat is very important when getting a kayak as you have noticed by wanting to modify your seat. I've noticed a lot of people overlook the Ride because it doesn't have the type of beach chair that others have. The Airpro seat is very comfortable but it doesn't raise or lower. The average retail for a Ride is $999, Cuda $1399, and Slayer $1399. If they only raise the price $300 it will still be in the right market. From what I've heard this seat is better than just a beach chair so we will see.

The key for me is that the seat stays connected to the kayak at all times. No lifting the whole seat off the kayak. One hand on the paddle while the other changes position. Comfort is awesome!!!

Just ordered a new Ride 135 through ACK. Emailed them about the voucher and the lady that emailed me back said that they don't have the vouchers is stock at the moment. It looks like I am going to have to call them on Monday to make sure I can get one when they get more...

----they emailed me saying they will send them out when they get more.....and that they are already taking preorders

I use the high Phase 3 and have zero stability issues even with my 50 pound waterlogged pup moving around in the aft tank well--at least on rivers. I haven't used it much on lakes.

Still, the Air pro looks very cool and depending on price, I may just have to buy one. I wonder what the resale value would be on my gently used phase 3 high seat? Whatever I got for it could go to the new seat, at least that's what I'm going to tell the wife. noidea

Yikes, that's a bit steep for me. I like my current high seat, and can get a lot of other great stuff for 350,

Yes 350 would go a long way in other areas but being older I think it would be worth it to me. My problem is I have twins so 700 bucks...ouch. maybe my fish buds would pitch in to outfit the companion yak eeks

It looks like it should sure make 5 or 6 hours in a kayak a little more comfortable then the seat I have in my Ride 115 now. I will certainly be interested in getting one when they are available.
